During the push to repeal net neutrality in 2017, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai made a lot of big promises. At the top of the list was that reverting back, as he put it, to “light-touch regulation” would boost network investment, create jobs, and give Americans access to “better, cheaper internet access.”
